GDCA Iftar Mehfil 2023

The GDCA Iftar Mehfil was held on 4th April 2023 at London Muslim Centre. The event was attended by a large number of participants who were treated to an invaluable Islamic discussion by Imam Hafez Maulana Abul Hussain on the significance of Ramadhan and what Muslims should do.

Imam Hafez Maulana Abul Hussain said, Ramadan is not just the name of fasting all day, its purpose is to use the teachings of Ramadan to refrain from all kinds of bad and unjust actions and for the next eleven months, live a righteous life and follow the righteous path.

Prayers were offered for the former chairman of Asharkandi Union and the former vice-president of this organisation Mr. Abdul Ahad-Modoris Miah and the former member of the management committee of the organisation Mr. Aftab Ali as well as the entire Muslim Ummah including the living and the dead of the village.

যুক্তরাজ্যে বসবাসরত জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলার গ্রেটার দাওরাই কমিউনিটি এসোসিয়েশন (জিডিসিএ) এর উদ্যোগে রমজানের তাৎপর্য শীর্ষক আলোচনা ও ইফতার মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে ।এতে বিপুল সংখ্যক দাওরাইবাসী অংশ নেন।

মঙ্গলবার ৪ এপ্রিল পূর্বলন্ডনের লন্ডন মুসলিম সেন্টারের সেমিনার রুমে আয়োজিত মাহফিলে সভাপতিত্ব করেন সংগঠনের চেয়ারম্যান আমির হোসেন ও সংগঠনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক আলিম উদ্দিন খানের সঞ্চালনায় অনুষ্ঠিত সভায় বক্তব্য রাখেন এলাকার বাসিন্দা লন্ডন মুসলিম সেন্টারের চেয়ারম্যান আয়ুব খান, সংগঠনের সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি আনিস আলী, মাহবুব হানিফ ইসলাম,শাহ আজমল আলী শিপু,তারিফ খান,শাহান মিয়া,কামাল হোসাইন,হুমায়ূন কবীর রাজন সহ আরো অনেকে।

ইফতার পূর্বে জীবন বিধান রমজানের তাৎপর্য ও মুসলমানদের করনীয় নিয়ে ইসলামী আলোচনা অংশ নিয়ে ইস্ট লন্ডন মসজিদের পেশ ইমাম হাফেজ মাওলানা আবুল হোসেন খান বলেন,রমজান শুধু সারাদিন উপবাসের নাম নয়, এর উদ্দেশ্য হলো রমজানের শিক্ষাকে কাজে লাগিয়ে সকল প্রকার খারাপ ও অন্যায় কাজ থেকে বিরত থাকা ও পরবর্তী এগার মাস সৎ জীবন যাপন ও ন্যায় পথে চলা।এরিসাথে

আশারকান্দী ইউনিয়নের প্রাক্তন চেয়ারম্যান এবং এই সংগঠনের প্রাক্তন সহ-সভাপতি প্রায়াত জনাব আব্দুল আহাদ-মদরিছ মিয়া ও সংগঠনের প্রাক্তন পরিচালনা কমিটির সদস্য প্রায়াত জনাব আপ্তাব আলী সহ গ্রামের সকল জিন্দা,মুর্দা সহ সমস্থ মুসলিম উম্মাহর জন্য দোআ করা হয়।
