Greater Dawrai Community Association UK Holds Successful Corporate Retreat in Somerset

The Management Committee of the Greater Dawrai Community Association UK (GDCA UK) recently held a formal two-day Away Days in the scenic Somerset countryside. Surrounded by stunning panoramic views and unspoilt natural landscapes, the retreat provided an ideal setting for sessional planning, team-building, and a formal meeting.

In addition to a dedicated strategy session focused on governance and the future direction of the Association, attendees engaged in a range of recreational activities including swimming competitions, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, indoor games and an entertaining quiz night. All activities and prizes were sponsored by Al Jannah Academy, courtesy of General Secretary Mahboob Islam (Hanif).

A total of 24 members attended, creating a warm and energetic atmosphere throughout. The event was both productive and enjoyable, helping to strengthen relationships and give fresh energy to the Committee's work.

The event marks an important step forward for GDCA UK as it continues to grow its presence and impact within the community. The Management Committee looks forward to building on the momentum generated during the Away Days to advance its mission and better serve its members.
